Leaving a review takes two minutes
If Bob has sorted your car, the single most useful thing you can do is leave a short public review. For a one-man workshop in Birnam it does more than any advert: it is how the next person in Dunkeld or Perth decides whether to trust us with their brakes.
You do not need to write an essay. What the job was, whether the price matched the quote, and whether the car was ready when promised is plenty.
What makes a review genuinely helpful
Mention the actual work — MOT, clutch, timing belt, diagnostics on a warning light. Specifics help somebody searching for that exact job, and they make the review credible to anyone reading it.
If something could have been better, say that too. Balanced reviews are read more carefully than perfect ones, and they tell us where to improve.
If something was not right
