What we check

Before you bring it in
Check every bulb including the number plate lights, top up the washer bottle, check the wiper blades do not smear, and make sure the boot is clear enough to reach the spare and the seatbelt mountings. Those four things account for a large share of first-time failures and cost almost nothing to fix at home.
If a warning light is on, it will fail. Get the code read beforehand rather than paying for a retest.
