The Prince engine integrated PCV diaphragm in the cam cover tears with age — a vacuum leak forms, the ECU adds fuel to compensate, and once it can't add enough, P0171 stores. We see this on virtually every R56 over 80k miles. The fix is a complete cam cover assembly (PCV is non-serviceable separately).
