Booking your car in outside working hours
Most people only notice a problem with the car at nine at night, long after any garage phone has stopped being answered. The after-hours booking form exists so you can get the job written down while it is fresh, instead of trying to remember it during your lunch break the next day.
Tell us the registration, roughly what the car is doing and when you need it back. The request lands with us overnight and we come back to you first thing with a slot and a price, or with a question if we need more detail before we can quote honestly.
What we need from you
The registration is the single most useful thing, because it tells us the engine, the MOT history and the parts we are likely to need. After that: what you can hear or feel, when it happens (cold start, braking, motorway speed), and whether any warning light is on or flashing.
A flashing engine management light means stop driving — that is a misfire putting raw fuel through the catalyst. A steady light usually means the car can be driven gently to the workshop. If in doubt, say so in the message and we will tell you whether to drive it or leave it.
MOT, servicing and repairs booked the same way
